| Horasis organizes the 2011 Global Russia Business Meeting in Limassol, Cyprus, on 10 and 11 April. The event is under the auspices of the President of the Republic Mr. Demetris Christofias and it is co-hosted by the Republic of Cyprus and the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency.
The Global Russia Business Meeting, which is organized for the first time in Cyprus, attracts top level Government representatives from the Russian Federation and other countries, as well as senior executives of organizations and private companies from Russia and worldwide. The conference will focus on the challenges and opportunities presented for Russia in today’s world economic environment. The objective of the conference is to encourage thought and actions for the continuous economic success of Russian companies in the worldwide business world.
The Meeting held in Cyprus is expected to reinforce the already excellent relations between Cyprus and Russia and the contribution of the Russian investments to the development of the Cypriot economy.
Referring to the Global Russia Business Meeting, CIPA’s Chairman Mr. Phidias Pilides commented among others that ‘this Meeting will allow us to extend the collaboration of the two countries; it will be a remarkable platform for utilizing knowledge and exchanging experience.’
The Chairman Horasis Dr. Frank-Jürgen Richter stated that Horasis is extremely satisfied to organize this significant event in Cyprus, bringing together distinguished persons who are active in the financial domain from all over the world.
The Meeting is supported by several international and Russian organizations. CIPA’s initiative to host this event is included in the wide range of its effort to promote Cyprus as an attractive business and investment destination. In particular, more than 250 prominent personalities from 30 different countries are going to join the Global Russia Business Meeting, which will be broadcast through Cyta’s live streaming online on http://www.cyta.com.cy. It is estimated that the event will attract great interest of the international mass media.
